Over 250 artists and craftsmen display and sell their wares along the streets of Historic Downtown Mystic.

From Quesadillas to fried rice; bouillabaisse to chowder to cheesecake, there is something for everyone, including triple chocolate oblivion. Local restaurants participate to promote sampling of Mystic’s great culinary offerings.

Harvest Moon Festival, Call for dates, Mystic River Park, www.mysticchamber.org. A local celebration to welcome the fall season at the Mystic River Park. Live entertainment, activities for children, and delicious food. Enjoy looking through the telescopes provided by Mystic Seaport Planetarium at the night sky.
     
Groton Fall Festival, Columbus Day weekend, www.grotonbiz.com. A town-wide event, bringing the entire community together for a celebration. Car show, concerts, food, craft fair & business expo.
     
NOVEMBER
   
     
Santa Arrives by Boat, Saturday after Thanksgiving, Mystic River Park & Mystic River, www.mysticchamber.org. Take part in the thrill as Santa Claus arrives at 2 pm by boat to listen to all the children’s holiday wishes. Enjoy the Christmas carols while waiting for Santa to arrive.
     
Tree Lighting & Lighted Holiday Boat Parade, Saturday after Thanksgiving, Mystic River & Mystic River Park, www.mysticchamber.org. Tree lighting at 6 pm. Stay for a spectacular light parade of hearty souls who keep their boats in the water despite the cold! Judging takes place for the most spectacular vessels.

Groton Lights Parade, Always the first Saturday in December at 5 pm Route 1 Groton, www.grotonbiz.com. Join the thousands of people who view the parade each year.
     
Mystic Stroll, First Tuesday of December, Historic Downtown Mystic, From 6 pm – 9 pm, www.mysticchamber.org. Stroll the streets and listen to the carolers rejoice in the holiday spirit. Merchants will keep their shops open late so everyone can get a head start on their holiday shopping while enjoying hot cider and cookies in the shops.
